Proceedings start in style with a sparkling Champagne reception and make your acquaintance with the rest of our guests and the welcoming Lakeside team.

New Year's Eve
Breakfast
Relax with a leisurely breakfast, served in the splendid surroundings of our Lakeview Restaurant and Conservatory and enjoy the panoramic lake views.
Discovery Day
Pay a fascinating visit to one of Lakeland's celebrated homes, situated in one of the most idyllic settings in the Lake District. We will make all the arrangements.
Gala Dinner
Celebrate New Year's Eve with a fabulous Gala Dinner to the sounds of our live music and disco. At midnight charge your glasses with Champagne and listen to a traditional piper, completing the entry into the New Year, before we party into the wee small hours. Late night / early morning traditional fayre will be served in the Conservatory for late party-goers.

2 January
Breakfast
Enjoy a traditional English breakfast and observe the wildlife on Windermere, including the Lakeside ducks arriving for their early morning feed.
Jazz Cruise
Clear away the cobwebs with a breathtaking trip on Lake Windermere while listening to our jazz band and take afternoon tea aboard.
Aquarium of the Lakes
Take a tour of this award-winning journey of discovery from mountain-top to Morecambe Bay, arranged for our exclusive use, while the Lakeside team serves you light refreshments.
Dinner
Enjoy your meal in the Lakeview Restaurant and Conservatory where we will provide an evening of fine dining.
3 January
Breakfast
Full English breakfast, before relaxing in the Conservatory and Lakeside spa. Visit the Old Grey Town of Kendal and enjoy some shopping. Alternatively, drive up to Hawkshead and look around the cobbled streets.
Dinner
Enjoy your meal to the soothing melodies of live music.
4 January
Breakfast
End your New Year Hotel break with a full English breakfast and look out one final time over the lake to the fells beyond.
