Thank you for all your help arranging our recent conference at lakeside - the venue is perfect and the care and attention we received from all the staff at Lakeside is excellent . Part of the reason we like Lakeside so much is that we strive to give excellent service to all our customers, and to be on the receiving end shows all our managers how worthwhile it is.

I just had to put pen to paper to say a great big thank you to you and your team. In this modern world it is rare to receive the service which we ALL received from your staff at the Lakeside Hotel. From the Porter who welcomed us at the door and took both our luggage and parked our car so good after a 300 mile drive. The duty manager Ben who arranged afternoon tea in the Oak Room in front of a log fire and the pre-dinner drinks in the same room made available just for us. The waitress in our private dining room on our first night who was just magic and the chef whom we asked to meet to buy him a drink after the meal and the waiter who looked after us in the main dining room on the second night. The housemaids who arranged our rooms with flowers and champagne and cleared up after our own little drinks celebration in the room. The house calls to our room to make sure all was well. The small touches such as the two menus for each night on the dinner table which were personlised for our celebration and of course the hotel itself decorated for Christmas. It was all a magical experience and that is down to all the team at the Hotel - at no time ovebearing but at all times attentive and looking to take that extra step to make our stay so enjoyable - we shall return.

'I would like to thank all the staff at the Lakeside Hotel for making our stay so enjoyable. Many of our 40 guests had travelled long distances to get there, but all were smitten with the setting, the service and the general ambience. Much of this was down to the team of staff who served us; they were unfailingly helpful, courteous and reliable. Our conference is an annual event held at different locations all over the country but the general consensus seemed to be to hold it at the Lakeside every year, despite the long journey for some. Thanks again for an outstanding service.'

'I just want to thank you and your colleagues for the excellent way you treated us at our Conference last week. The accommodation, meals and whole organisation was of the highest standard. Everything worked like clockwork, fitting in with the vagaries of our timing, and any requests we had were dealt with efficiently and nothing was too much trouble. We were very impressed with the whole set up from being greeted by the door staff and reception to the restaurant staff and those in the bar and those organising our conference room. We managed to really enjoy our stay in spite of the fact that we were all working! Ten out of ten for the week!!'

Everything was perfect from start to finish - conference facilities, food, rooms, public rooms, location.
