How we stage your Lakeside wedding
As you know, your Wedding Day needs a beautiful location and excellent timing. We can assure you of both. Lakeside Hotel commands an unparalleled location on the southern shore of Lake Windermere - one of the most beautiful venues in the Lake District.
Our mature gardens by the water's edge provide a panoramic background - ideal for both your drinks reception and photographs.
Lakeside Hotel's unique wedding package
Many years of successful experience have shown us how much an all inclusive package is favoured by many couples. It guarantees you a set price from the start and ensures that you have much less to worry about.

- Drinks Reception of Champagne and Canapés
- Your choice of set menu from our Wedding Breakfast menus

Guest numbers
Minimum 2 - simply the Bride & Groom, maximum 24 in our Oak Room, available Sunday to Thursday.
Should your guests numbers exceed 24, throughout August we are delighted to offer our Windermere Suite for a maximum 50 guests, available Sunday-Thursday.
Prices include VAT at 17.5%.

Early evening Wedding Breakfast:
- Church Service or Civil Ceremony - 4.00pm
- Drinks Reception & Photographs - 4.30pm
- Lake Cruise (if required) - 5.30pm (optional)
- Wedding Breakfast - from 6.00pm
Your Civil Wedding Ceremony
Lakeside Hotel is proud to offer superb facilities to stage a Civil Wedding Ceremony. Choose one of two private rooms for the Civil Ceremony.
All rooms have easy access to the scenic gardens and lakeshore.
Our resident musician, Peter Brown is often available to provide live music for your Civil Wedding Ceremony.
The charges to hire these rooms also include a changing room for the use of your guests prior to the ceremony.
Windermere Suite or Oak Room £395
(We reserve the right to upgrade your ceremony to an alternative suite at no extra charge)
Coffee can be arranged for your guests, for before the ceremony.

Celebrate on the Lake
For the wedding with a difference, we can host your complete reception on the Lake.
Your day will be complete when you and your guests discover the Lake from the water.
The breathtaking views along the length and breadth of Windermere can be captured with an afternoon or evening cruise. All boats enjoy full facilities, including a bar. Exclusive charters available from as little as £300. Please refer to the Windermere Lake Cruises website.
Special Accommodation Tariff
Each of our 80 bedrooms has been individually decorated using designer fabrics and wall coverings. Many of the rooms have stunning views over the lake.
We have pleasure in offering special rates to you and your wedding guests when you stay two nights or more (a minimum 2 night stay is applicable when booking a Saturday night).
