By Road & Car Parking
Parking is complimentary at Lakeside Hotel for all our residents. On arrival simply pull in at reception and we will park your car for you.
Just 15 minutes from junction 36 of the M6 motorway, follow the signs for Barrow and South Lakes, travelling on the A590 to Newby Bridge. Go straight on at the Newby Bridge roundabout and take the next turning right over Newby Bridge which leads to the Hawkshead road. Follow this road for 1 mile which will bring you to the Hotel on the shores of Lake Windermere.
Or simply follow the brown direction signs for 'Windermere Cruises' from the M6 - they will lead you right to our front door!

Luxury Transfers
Travel in style - our luxurious executive car can be pre-booked, with just 24 hours notice, to collect you and your guests (a maximum of 4 passengers) and bring you directly to the hotel from either the airport or station. Please contact us for inclusive rates that include complimentary transfers.
By Air
From Manchester Airport take the M56 to join the M6. Take the M6 North to Junction 36. Travel from the airport to the hotel in style by pre-booking our luxurious executive car - see above for further details. Alternatively taxis are available from the airport forecourt.

By Train
Arrive at Oxenholme Station on the mainline from London to Glasgow.
Virgin Train's new timetable will ensure travel between London Euston and Oxenholme the Lake District in approximately 3 hours.

NB - Using the Kendal office please ask for a pick up from Oxenholme Station in the special requests section, and when booked call the Kendal office to arrange collection.
As a guide, typical charges at the moment are: Friday 5pm to Monday 5pm £75 for a Vauxhall Corsa, to include all insurance and taxes.
