Duck Herding

Want to try your hand at herding ducks? This is a great event using trained sheep dogs to herd ducks around a course and into a closing pen – all against the clock. If you’re interested to know how your colleagues might cope as they begin to look like a cross between Farmer Giles and a Mother Duck, you will love this. A fantastic opportunity for you to work with animals under expert guidance!

Walking with Wolves

Bring your delegates to the heart of the Lake District and be  inspired by how we can realise your teams potential from the behaviour of the wild.  The perfect avenue to provide a wide range of professionally delivered activities, with developmental target specific goals; leadership, communication, problem solving and comfort zones.

Guided Lakeland Walks

Take to the fells of the Lake District with your very own mountain guide. We’ll work with local experts to craft guided walks suited to the ages and abilities of your group. What better way to explore this unique natural environment and bond with co-workers away from the everyday pressures of the workplace?

Mountain Biking

For high adrenaline guided adventures, why not take on the challenge of a mountain bike trail in Grizedale Forest. From gentle waymarked routes meandering through ancient woodlands to demanding ‘red’ and ‘black’ off-road trails, there’s no better place to build up confidence on two wheels. We’ll also arrange full bike and equipment hire.

Archery / Clay Pigeon Shooting

Groups can take aim and indulge in some Lakeland country pursuits including clay pigeon shooting or the ancient skill of archery, with experienced instructors from CBA Events. Participants will work on co-ordination, sound judgement and self-confidence to hit those targets.

Bushcraft

Get back to nature with wilderness bush craft. Groups will take on the challenge of setting up camp and building an open fire to cook their ‘foraged’ snacks. Professional tuition arranged by See Events will refine basic survival skills including rope tying, wood collection and shelter building.

Segway Tours

Not only is Segway riding the perfect platform to enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Lake District National Park, it’s a great test of balance, control… and sense of humour. Go Ape’s Forest Segway will see participants exploring beautiful woodland trails at Grizedale, while Lakeland Segway provide guided tours around Cartmel Racecourse and The Holker Estate.
