Sunday Lunch has arrived at Lakeside, not just any roast, but one worth slowing down for. Served every Sunday from 12:30pm till 3pm.

Spring Gardens
Our Head Gardener, Kevin, has been busy bringing the gardens to life, with each area beginning to showcase the beauty of the season.
Across the grounds, early spring blooms are beginning to emerge, from snowdrops and crocus to miniature daffodils brightening the borders. Hellebores and camellias bring rich colour, while rhododendrons build anticipation in the woodland areas as the gardens awaken for the season ahead.
Kevin is always happy to stop for a chat if you’re a garden enthusiast, and his weekly garden tours take place every Wednesday at 10.15am, lasting approximately one hour. Everyone is welcome to join.
Staff news
This April, our Front of House Manager Dave Simms will be taking part in the Walk for Wellbeing, a sponsored challenge along the Cumbria Way in support of Hospitality Action.
Taking place from 17th – 21st April, the walk spans five stages through some of the Lake District’s most beautiful landscapes, helping to raise vital funds for those working within the hospitality industry.
We wish him the best of luck on his trek!

Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway
The Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway is back, offering a charming and nostalgic way to explore the Lake District this spring, with trains running daily.
Step aboard a traditional steam train and travel through the scenic Leven Valley in beautifully restored 1950s carriages, arriving right at Lakeside. From here, you can step straight onto a Windermere Lake Cruise, with departures just outside the hotel, making it effortless to combine train and boat for a full experience.
