Stroll across our car park to Lakes Aquarium and discover some of the Lake District’s most famous local creatures, like the Thornback Ray found in Morecambe Bay, as well as some from around the world, like the Oriental small clawed otter and Mexican ‘walking fish’.

With the Windermere Lake Cruises passenger ferry docking right outside the hotel doors, grab the ferry into Bowness-on-Windermere or all the way to the north of the lake to Ambleside.
