Stay by the Lakeside
Family rooms
Our handpicked selection of rooms for families have everything you need to enjoy a little bit of Lakeland luxury on your stay in the Lakes.
Lakeland inspired food for all the family
With two restaurants to choose from, there are plenty of dining options for your family. If you prefer a more refined dining experience, you will find what you need in Lakeview, but if you prefer a more relaxed setting, the John Ruskin’s Brasserie provides an informal, fun, and family-orientated pub-style food menu. With a focus on locally sourced seasonal produce, our dining options promise a taste of the Lakes for every palate, even the fussy ones!

Indoor heated swimming pool
For those who don’t fancy a wild swim (or paddle) in Lake Windermere, just head feet first into our 17-metre indoor heated pool. The Lakeside is the perfect place to unplug, unwind, and recharge, especially with kids in tow. Enjoy a gentle swim or get your lengths in, the pool is child friendly and the perfect place to burn off some energy on a rainy Lake District day.

"I just returned from a lovely couple of nights stay, it was with the family for a big birthday occasion. The hotel is in a stunning spot, with a good choice of walks and things to do from the door. I didn’t mention the food - that was good too!"
Alex, Hotel Guest
Fun-packed games for little (and big!) kids
Challenge friends and family on our PlayStation 5 or enjoy the timeless fun of a (giant) Connect Four. Have a shot at table football, sink the stripes and spots on our American pool table or sit back and relax with one of a selection of classic board games, all to enjoy at your leisure. Game on!
