Be the best version of you & shine in a Lakeside role

Training the Top

It is commonly known that hospitality is a career that offers those transferrable skills, which sets you up for independent life. That is why this industry is so popular for school-leavers. There are many reasons why joining our hospitality team could be beneficial. Maybe you crave a shift in career, an apprenticeship, a student job or summer fix. Or perhaps, you are a parent wanting to return to work and need a flexible position. Whatever the reason may be, we have designed a training package, that is not only paid but comes with a job guarantee!

We deliver two- and three-day working interviews that not only change the way you think about luxury accommodation but also eradicates the taboo that such hotels, like us, are scary and intimidating. We are neither! You will feel instantly relaxed in our training environment and experience a place that is fancy, yes, but also hugely friendly. By joining us, you will get to grips with luxury hospitality, taught by fun and approachable staff. Learn from the professionals, while their easy nature and passion for their roles rub off on you!

“Training with us is something special because it’s how we go about doing it. The fear is taken away, as there is no deep end with us. It’s an organic process that develops over some time, so you naturally become the heartbeat of the hotel. A place where you can interact and have fun with colleagues. We pride ourselves in pin-pointing your gifts and where you excel – so you are placed in the right role for you to shine!”

These sessions will introduce you to every aspect of luxury hospitality. From the rare and classic silver service to the personalised touches we make every day. Step into our beautiful world, as you learn and grow into the ambassadors and faces of the hotel. Be the best first and the last impression, with your award-winning welcome and customer service. Learn how to pre-empt our guest’s needs and exceed their expectations. Not only will we be proud of your journey, but you will be blown away by what you are capable of. You will make every guest experience the unforgettable!

“Starting from the basics is so important. It is the firm foundation of your hospitality knowledge which, in time, will be your core understanding and the natural way you work. This understanding is the passion and professionalism you will implement daily – a consistency of service without even thinking! We know our process works, as we have so many success stories at Lakeside. For instance, Jack was completely new to hospitality and came to us straight from school. Now he is venturing into a managerial training course, which we know he will flourish in! Then there is Billy, who started in a basic role and is now in our management team and thriving!”
